<Folding fan, Hiroshige prints-bridge in Kyoto>

Supposing you know a name of Hiroshige Ando(A.D.1797-1858) who is Ukiyo-e painter, you would be well-versed in Japanese culture because Hiroshige isn't as famous as Hokusai and Utamaro. Maybe his art work well give off an aura of Japan but isn't as impressive as Hokusai e.g. Kanagawa big wave. Though Hiroshige can not hold a candle to Hokusai, he is inimitable painter as for depicting Japanese landscape, which can feel old Japan's nostalgia, and so Ukiyo-e of Hiroshige has won popularity as well as Hokusai in Japan. Though it's for some unknown reason, Hiroshige liked to depict Japanese bridge, and that is the theme of this folding fan.
