Kakemono in
Japanese means collective name for wall ornament in Japan, and
Kakemono includes Kakejiku - Japanese hanging
scroll in the broadest sense of the term, but
Japanese people don't call Kakejiku as Kakemono
in the customary sense. When The Japanese say
that I am looking for Kakemono to decorate room,
most of The Japanese would call to mind this item.
(In short, Kakejiku is not Kakemono in Japanese.)
Raw materials of this item is completely same as
"TATAMI" that is floor mat in Japan.
Please choose Shikishi according to your
favorites. Maybe you won't be able to buy "genuine"
Kakemono on the internet except for our shop. |
