| When spring is in the air at Japan, Existenz Co., Ltd, named after a word
in book of a famous philosopher, had set up shop on the internet as Japanese
handicrafts shop, which is retail division in Existenz Co., Ltd.
About 80 years ago, a famous Germany philosopher, Martin Heidegger released a paper, which is "Sein und Zeit" in German, Being and Time in English. During the first half of the twenty century, he remained as the great philosopher in part due to the fact that his paper was very hard to understand and in part because his paper fitted with the times in which there was chaotic situation caused by Second World War.
Though a great majority of philosopher in United States think that his
paper is nothing but play due to the abstrusity, there is no doubt that
Martin Heidegger was genuine philosopher, and he expressed that Existenz is in a special meaning.
For instance, when you say that sky is blue, that means that sky exists
in blue color condition, and when Hamlet says that "To be or not to
be, that is the question", Hamlet are in existence ! , when a man
write that "Existence proceeds and rules essence", it is true
that such sentence may be nothing but play of words, but there would be
no denying the fact that you get some kind of strong impression.
In short, our owner likes philosophy, and so his company's name has its origin in "Sein und Zeit". (Pleae visit THE CONSTITUTION OF
